Chicago Indoor Garden Sprout Recall News – The Chicago Indoor Garden sprout recall is in response to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) March 13 clover sprout finding that confirmed the presence of E. coli 0103 in a sample taken pursuant to an outbreak at Jimmy John’s restaurants.
Chicago Indoor Garden Sprout Recall Information
Chicago Indoor Garden is recalling all products containing Red Clover sprouts in response to the FDA’s findings. The FDA has recommended that consumers not eat the following recalled products with “Best By” dates 12/1/2019 through 3/12/2020, which were distributed to Whole Foods throughout the Midwest, Coosemans Chicago Inc., Battaglia Distributing, and Living Waters Farms:
- Red Clover 4oz. clamshell (Barcode: 852623008082)
- Red Clover 2lb. boxes (Barcode: 081967000630)
- Sprout Salad 6oz. clamshell (Barcode: 852623008143)
- Mixed Greens 4oz. clamshell (Barcode: 852623008129)
- Spring Salad 6oz. clamshell (Barcode: 852623008136)
